Loveleen & Goshawn Chawla - Cinematic Punjabi Hindu Wedding Day Highlights

Loveleen & Goshawn Chawla - Cinematic Punjabi Hindu Wedding Day Highlights Video Clips. Duration : 10.32 Mins.

On November 11, 2011, Loveleen and Goshawn married on the outskirts of Chicago, Illinois. We were very much looking forward to returning to Chicago to cover another Indian wedding. When I first spoke with Goshawn, I instantly connected with him! I loved his enthusiasm for the the wedding, and for the video. After many conversations back and forth about the video, I was very excited when they decided to bring us on. Loveleen wore a beautiful fushia lehnga, embroidered with gold and platinum threading, and accented with rich burgundy velvet. The groom wore a traditional sherwani, off white with pink and gold accents. The groom arrived for his baraat at 10:00 am in a horse drawn carriage, with his friends and family dancing along with the dhol player. The milni is a Punjabi wedding tradition where all the heads of both families exchange garlands. The Punjabi Hindu ceremony followed. The royal looking mandap sat over the pool, creating a scenic setting for this union. Following the ceremony, the bride held her viddai ceremony, where her family officially say goodbye to her and give her away to her husband. The reception was held the following day at the India House Banquet Hall in Schaumburg, Illinois. I thought I had seen performances before, but this was something else! It seemed like everyone in the family had a little Bollywood flair!
