On June 20, 2009, a banquet took place at the Polish Combatants Association in Toronto, honouring the fallen soldiers in Afghanistan, as well as Polish and Canadian veterans of both WWII and Afghanistan.

Polish dancers at my cousin's wedding, I do not know the meaning of the dance, my friends in Poland tell me it is a very old dance not common in Poland anymore nor is it a "wedding dance". This was at a Polish-American banquet hall in Michigan, I think the owners had asked these dancers from another event there to do a dance for my cousin's wedding as a gift of sorts, a very nice jesture indeed, love the Polish girls! Very beautiful.
